At New Year, we will announce our TOP 50 Burlesque Stars for 2009 - as voted by you!

This isn’t supposed to be a chance for a big voting campaign - it’s simply a chance for you to nominate the people who most impress, excite, inspire or entertain you. You must nominate FIVE, with the option to nominate up to TEN.

You can nominate stripteasers, variety performers, a host or emcee, teachers, musicians and singers, producers, personalities - as long as it is an individual person, past or present. Anyone who you think makes burlesque brilliant!

Sounds like fun! I’ve nonimated about 7, though I’m sure there’s tons whose names escape me at the moment (I nominated myself too, har har). Go vote! (And for goodness’ sake please vote someone else other than Dita von Teese!!)
